When experimenting with retro computers and/or development systems, you may need an EPROM programmer. I purchased this one from Ebay for about $60 (an equivalent US commercial programmer will cost hundreds of dollars). The quality is very good and it is capable for amateur requirements. It is from China. The operating software must be downloaded from the manufacturer's website in China. To understand the website, you will have to use Google's translator built into Chrome. You will receive virus warnings. Considering that, the download is also VERY slow. I took the risk and downloaded the software. After scanning the software for viruses, I went through the install process. It seems to work well and has caused no problem up to this point. YMMV!
